Cipher Press is an independent publisher of fiction and non-fiction by queer writers. Established earlier this year, their first published project is Cipher Shorts, a series of chapbooks showcasing contemporary queer writing.. The first in the series, There Will Always Be Nights Like This, responds to the reality of being a queer person in lockdown. Profits go to The Outside Project, the UK’s first LGBTQI+ homeless shelter and crisis centre.
Large Animals is a short story collection from Jess Arendt that confronts what it means to have a body, challenging our perceptions of gender and embracing ambiguity. Large Animals is published in August.
